Lane closures for Hanalei Hill slope stabilization begin Monday
Starting Sept. 18, there will be a single lane closure on Kūhiō Highway near Hanalei Plantation Road and the Hanalei Bridge from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Lane closures for Olohena Road from Sept. 18 to Oct. 20
The single-lane closures in each direction, with alternating traffic throughout Olohena Road, will be performed and are necessary for roadway reconstruction. Motorists are urged to use alternate routes and to expect brief and occasional delays.
Lane closures for sections of Kapa‘a from Sept. 18 to Sept. 22
The closure is necessary for permanent roadway striping and roadway construction. During this time, lanes will be shifted to help accommodate for the construction. Kawaihau, Hau’a’ala and Mailihuna Road will experience temporary road narrowing.
