With less than one week to go, election officials recommend Hawaiʻi voters return their completed ballots by dropping them off at a ballot drop box or by visiting a voter service center within their county rather than placing them in the mail.

The Voting Service Center in Līhuʻe offers accessible in-person voting and same-day registration and serves as a mail ballot collection site. 

The Kaua’i County Elections Division will begin mailing ballots to registered Hawai’i Island voters for the general election on Oct. 19, and voters should receive them between Oct. 21 and 26.

The 2022 general election is just a few weeks away and Kaua‘i voters will have the chance to weigh in on several proposed changes to the county charter.
