DOH Reports 136 New COVID Cases Statewide
The Hawai‘i Department of Health reported 136 new cases of coronavirus Friday, raising the statewide total to 29,927. Zero new COVID-related deaths were reported.
Friday is the eighth day in the last nine days that Hawai‘i has registered at least 100 new cases. The state’s two-week average is 100 new cases daily, with a test positivity rate of 1.9%.

A total of 2,009 individuals have been hospitalized as a result of COVID-19 infection since the pandemic began, while at least 463 people have died.
DOH reported that 634,442 doses of the vaccine had been administered across all islands as of Friday.
