Gradual Increase in COVID Cases Continues Across Hawai‘i
The Hawai‘i Department of Health reported 79 new cases of coronavirus Monday, raising the statewide total to 28,851. Zero new COVID-related deaths were reported.
The state’s two-week average continues to trend upward and is now 75 new cases daily, with a test positivity rate of 1.5%. The state’s virus tracker, which maps cases by district across all islands, can be accessed here.

A total of 1,953 individuals have been hospitalized as a result of COVID-19 infection since the pandemic began, while at least 454 people have died.
