Second COVID-19 Case Identified in 2 Days
Another COVID-19 case was identified on Kaua‘i for the second day in a row, bringing the active number of cases to two and the cumulative total of infections to 59.
According to Kaua‘i District Health Office the new case is a man visiting the island who is currently in isolation. The source of his infection appears to be related to mainland travel, and he has been in travel quarantine.
The Department of Health completed its contact tracing investigation and all close contacts have been directed to quarantine and offered a test.
