Kaua‘i Police Department’s records office will have modified hours for Statehood Day

The Kaua‘i Police Department’s Records services and firearms registration will have modified hours of operation in observance of Statehood Day.

Starting today through Aug. 16, the Records window will be open Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Morning hours are from 8 a.m. to noon, and afternoon hours are from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Firearms registration services will also be available on these days, with morning hours from 8 a.m. to noon and afternoon hours from 1 to 3:30 p.m. The Records window will be closed on Aug. 16 in observance of Statehood Day.

Normal hours of operation will resume on Aug. 19 and can be found at https://www.kauai.gov/Government/Departments-Agencies/Police-Department/Records-Section.
