Update 12:35 p.m. March 5: John A. Navarro, 41, was located and is safe.

Original post: The Kaua‘i Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing Līhuʻe man.

John A. Navarro

According to police, 41-year-old John A. Navarro was reported missing Feb. 29. The family member who reported him missing, who lives out of state, last spoke to him via telephone on or about Jan. 24.

Navarro is 5-foot-4, about 135 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair. His last name is tattooed on his upper back and he has distinctive tattoos on his right shoulder and right hand.

He is also known for doing shoreline fishing at the Nukoli‘i beach.

Anyone with information about Navarro’s whereabouts is urged to call Kaua‘i Police Department Dispatch at 808-241-1711. Those want to remain anonymous can call Crime Stoppers Kaua‘i at 808-246-8300.
