Public input sought on ‘Anini Beach Park improvements

Kaua‘i County’s Department of Parks and Recreation and its consultant, Community Planning & Engineering, will conduct a public information meeting for proposed improvements to ‘Anini Beach Park boat wash down and trailer parking area.

Officials will also discuss park improvements that will make the area more accessible to those with physical disabilities.

The meeting will be held on Wednesday from 6 to 7 p.m. at ‘Anini Beach Park pavilion near the boat washdown area, located at 3736 ‘Anini Road in Kīlauea.

The meeting will discuss the existing condition of the beach park’s boat wash down and trailing parking area and proposed improvements. The consulting group and county park officials will be present to address the community’s questions and concerns and receive public comments.
