Kaua‘i police investigating after a body was found in a vehicle fire at beach park
The Kauaʻi Police Department is investigating after an unidentified body was found following a vehicle fire in Anahola on Friday morning.
At approximately 3 a.m., firefighters responded to a report of a vehicle fire at Anahola Beach Park. After the flames were put out, police arrived on scene and discovered a body inside the vehicle.
An autopsy is being scheduled to identify the decedent and determine the cause of death. Foul play has not been ruled out.
