Update at 10:38 a.m. Jan. 11: Kaua‘i County officials report that used motor oil recycling services have resumed at the Kekaha Landfill and all County refuse transfer stations.

Original story: Used motor oil is not being accepted at the Līhu‘e refuse transfer station and Kekaha Landfill until further notice due to issues with the contractor’s hauling equipment.
