1 Hotel Hanalei Bay, the new sustainable luxury resort on Kaua‘i’s north shore, has been named to the Conde Nast Traveler Gold List 2024.

Opened for less than a year, the mission-driven 1 Hotel Hanalei Bay is the only Hawai‘i hotel to win a coveted spot on what is considered the world’s most prestigious travel award.

We are honored to be Hawai‘i’s only hotel to be named to the prestigious Conde Nast Traveler Gold List 2024,” said Nicholas Gold, vice president of operations and general manager for 1 Hotel Hanalei Bay. “It is a testament to our team members’ hard work and dedication in sharing our mission to live and travel sustainably. We hope that this award attracts more mindful travelers to Hawai‘i who support our local community, culture and natural resources. The importance of encouraging regenerative travel is essential to the future of Hawai‘i and a platform that I hope other individuals and businesses join us in prioritizing.
