Kekaha Landfill to close early Dec. 15

The Kekaha Landfill will close early at 2 p.m. Dec. 15 to accommodate a community event.

Customers, including large commercial haulers, have been notified. Signage is posted at the landfill scale house to inform the public.

The landfill is closed Saturdays and Sundays and will resume regular hours Dec. 18. The landfill accepts commercial loads from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and residential rubbish from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. It is closed from noon to 12:30 p.m. for lunch.
