County of Kaua‘i announces Thanksgiving holiday closures

In observance of the Thanksgiving holiday, County of Kaua‘i offices will be closed on Thursday, Nov. 23.

Closures also include the following facilities on Nov. 23.

• all neighborhood centers;
• the Hanapēpē Sunshine Market;
• the Puhi Metals Recycling Center;
• the Kekaha Landfill;
• HI5 Redemption Centers;
• all refuse transfer stations; and
• the Waimea and Kapa‘a swimming pools.

The schedule for residential refuse pick-up will remain unchanged. 

The Kaua‘i Bus will be operating on its regular schedule on the holidays.

Regular business hours for county offices and services will resume on Nov. 24.
