The Hawai‘i Department of Transportation has released weekly lane closures for Sept. 9-15.

Schedules can change at any time without further notice. All projects are weather permitting.

— KAUMUALI‘I HIGHWAY (HIGHWAY 50) —

1) PUHI TO LĀWAʻI

Single lane closure possible in either direction, in the vicinity of mile marker 2.1 and Kōloa Road, on Monday, Sept 18, through Friday, Sept. 22, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. for grass trimming.

— KAPULE HIGHWAY (HIGHWAY 51) —

1) LĪHUʻE TO HANAMĀʻULU (WEEKEND WORK)

Right shoulder closure possible in either direction between Ahukini Road and Kūhiō Highway (Highway 56) on Saturday, Sept. 16, from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for grass cutting.

1) LĪHUʻE TO KAPAIA (WEEKEND WORK)

Right lane closure in the northbound direction between Rice Street and Laukini Road, on Saturday, Sept. 16, from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for replacing old and missing reflectors.

3) WAILUA

Right lane closure in the northbound direction between North Leho Drive and Kuamoʻo Road, on Monday Sept. 18, through Friday, Sept. 22, from 6 a.m. to 11 a.m. for installation on pins in the bridge deck of the Mayor Bryan J. Baptiste Memorial Bridge.

4) KEĀLIA TO ANAHOLA

Single lane closure possible in either direction, in the vicinity of Mailihuna Road and Puʻu Hale Loop, on Sunday, Sept. 18, through the morning of Friday, Sept. 22, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. for grass cutting.

5) ANAHOLA

Right lane closure possible in either direction, between the vicinity of Puʻu Hale Loop and Aliomanu Road, from Monday, Sept. 18, through Friday, Sept. 22, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. for grass cutting.

6) PRINCEVILLE

Single lane closure possible in either direction between the vicinity of Hanalei Plantation Road and Hanalei Bridge from Monday, Sept. 18, through Friday, Sept. 22, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for slope stabilization.
