Additionally, a communication tool called GovDelivery Communications Cloud has been implemented, allowing users to select the information they want to receive and enabling more efficient delivery of information.

Lastly, improved access to meetings of the Kaua‘i County Council, boards and commissions, with a focus on agenda item discussions, were made to increase community awareness of government actions, projects and policies.

During the biennial goal-setting session of the Kaua’i County Council in early 2021, a priority was placed on enhancing communication between the county and its residents. To meet this objective, the county issued an RFP to software companies, requesting proposals that could assist in achieving these goals.
