1 New Positive Case Reported on Kaua‘i Overnight
One new positive COVID-19 has been reported by the Kaua‘i District Health Office this morning. As of today, Kaua‘i now has a total of 35 cases with 14 being active.
All 14 cases are spread over two households and are currently in isolation, officials say. All close contacts of the positive cases are in quarantine. With each new case, the Department of Health expands its contact tracing investigation to identify, test, and quarantine close contacts.
Additional tests are pending and results are expected over the next few days. Updates on new cases will be released as information becomes available.
