63 New Cases Reported Tuesday Statewide

The state Department of Health reported 63 new COVID-19 cases Tuesday, bringing the statewide total to 237,518. No new fatalities were reported.

A total of one new infections was identified Tuesday on the Garden Isle.

The island-by-island case count is as follows:

• O‘ahu: 164,576
• Hawaiʻi: 25,974
• Maui: 28,080
• Kaua‘i: 11,526
• Moloka‘i: 938
• Lana‘i: 628
• Pending: 0
• Out-of-State: 5,796

Of those total cases, 8,378 required hospitalization with 58 currently hospitalized. At least 1,354 have died since the pandemic began. Hospitalization data is updated Monday through Friday, except on state and federal holidays.
