833 New Cases Reported Monday

The state Department of Health reported 833 new COVID-19 cases Monday, bringing the statewide total to 227,284. No new fatalities were reported.

A total of 94 new infections were identified Monday on the Garden Isle.

The island-by-island case count is as follows:

• O‘ahu: 158,481
• Hawaiʻi: 24,543
• Maui: 26,958
• Kaua‘i: 10,530
• Moloka‘i: 891
• Lana‘i: 580
• Pending: 0
• Out-of-State: 5,301

A total of 7,756 individuals have been hospitalized as a result of COVID-19 infection since the pandemic began, while at least 1,226 have died.
