DOH Reports 916 New COVID Cases Sunday

The state Department of Health reported 916 new COVID-19 cases Sunday, bringing the statewide total to 226,451. Four new fatalities were reported.
A total of 95 new infections were identified Sunday on Kaua‘i.

The island-by-island case count is as follows:
- O‘ahu: 157,993
- Hawaiʻi: 24,418
- Maui: 26,866
- Kaua‘i: 10,436
- Moloka‘i: 887
- Lana‘i: 573
- Pending: 0
- Out-of-State: 5,278

A total of 7,756 individuals have been hospitalized as a result of COVID-19 infection since the pandemic began, while at least 1,226 have died.
