DOH Reports 3,878 New COVID Cases Sunday

The state Department of Health reported 3,878 new COVID-19 cases Sunday, bringing the statewide total to 169,886. Three new fatalities were reported.

A total of 230 new infections were identified Sunday on Kaua‘i.

The island-by-island case count is as follows:

  • O‘ahu: 120,462
  • Hawaiʻi: 18,161
  • Maui: 19,494
  • Kaua‘i: 6,513
  • Moloka‘i: 658
  • Lana‘i: 334
  • Pending: 0
  • Out-of-State: 4,264

A total of 5,428 individuals have been hospitalized as a result of COVID-19 infection since the pandemic began, while at least 1,126 have died.
