170 New COVID Cases Reported Statewide
The Hawaiʻi Department of Health reported 170 new COVID-19 cases Friday, bringing the statewide total to 88,825. Six new COVID-related fatalities were reported.
Kauaʻi County continues to have the highest test positivity rate in the state at 2% with a seven-day case average of 10.
The state’s seven-day average is now 98 new cases daily, with a test positivity rate of 1.5%.

Out-of-State: 2,992
A total of 5,100 individuals have been hospitalized as a result of COVID-19 infection since the pandemic began, while at least 1,045 have died.
