143 New COVID Cases Confirmed Statewide
The Hawaiʻi Department of Health reported 143 new COVID-19 cases Thursday, bringing the statewide total to 88,655. One new COVID-related fatality was reported.
Kauaʻi County continues to have the highest test positivity rate in the state at 2.4% with a seven-day case average of 12.
The state’s seven-day average is now 92 new cases daily, with a test positivity rate of 1.4%.

A total of 5,100 individuals have been hospitalized as a result of COVID-19 infection since the pandemic began, while at least 1,040 have died.
