State Reports 11 New COVID Cases in Kauaʻi County
The Hawaiʻi Department of Health reported 148 new COVID-19 cases Sunday, bringing the statewide total to 88,295. One new COVID-related fatality was reported.
The DOH identified a total of 11 new infections in Kauaʻi County. The county continues to have the highest test positivity rate in the state at 3.2% with a seven-day case average of 17.
The state’s seven-day average is now 90 new cases daily, with a test positivity rate of 1.4%. A map documenting new cases by district throughout all islands can be accessed at the DOH website.

A total of 5,076 individuals have been hospitalized as a result of COVID-19 infection since the pandemic began, while at least 1,033 have died.
