DOH Reports 115 New COVID Cases Statewide
The Hawaiʻi Department of Health reported 115 new COVID-19 cases Wednesday, bringing the statewide total to 87,106. Six new COVID-related fatalities were reported.
Kauaʻi County continues to have the highest test positivity rate in the state at 2.8% with a seven-day case average of 16.
The state’s seven-day average is now 108 new cases daily, with a test positivity rate of 1.4%.

The island-by-island case count is as follows:
O‘ahu: 59,308
Hawai‘i: 11,637
Maui: 9,873
Kaua‘i: 3,029
Moloka‘i: 247
Lana‘i: 145
Pending: 0
Out-of-State: 2,867
A total of 4,993 individuals have been hospitalized as a result of COVID-19 infection since the pandemic began, while at least 1,008 have died.
