DOH Reports 206 New COVID Cases Statewide
The Hawaiʻi Department of Health reported 206 new COVID-19 cases Friday, bringing the statewide total to 86,522. Six new COVID-related fatalities were reported.
Kauaʻi County continues to have the highest test positivity rate in the state at 2.9%. The seven-day case average is 13.
The state’s seven-day average is now 109 new cases daily, with a test positivity rate of 1.4%.

The island-by-island case count is as follows:
O‘ahu: 59,013
Hawai‘i: 11,534
Maui: 9,792
Kaua‘i: 2,955
Moloka‘i: 245
Lana‘i: 145
Pending: 0
Out-of-State: 2,838
A total of 4,953 individuals have been hospitalized as a result of COVID-19 infection since the pandemic began, while at least 998 have died.
