DOH Reports 156 New COVID-19 Cases Statewide
The Hawaiʻi Department of Health reported 156 new COVID-19 cases Thursday, bringing the statewide total to 82,886. Four new COVID-related fatalities were also reported.
The state’s seven-day average is now 117 new cases daily, with a test positivity rate of 1.7%.

The island-by-island case count is as follows:
O‘ahu: 57,211
Hawai‘i: 10,768
Maui: 9,415
Kaua‘i: 2,508
Moloka‘i: 238
Lana‘i: 141
Pending: 0
Out-of-State: 2,605
A total of 4,619 individuals have been hospitalized as a result of COVID-19 infection since the pandemic began, while at least 880 have died.
