DOH Reports 615 New COVID-19 Cases Statewide
The Department of Health reported 615 new cases of coronavirus statewide Saturday, bringing the overall total to 45,860. Two new COVID-related deaths were also reported.
The state’s two-week average is now 464 new cases daily, with a test positivity rate of 7%. A map documenting new cases by district across all islands can be accessed at the DOH website.
The island-by-island case count is as follows:
O‘ahu: 32,076
Hawai‘i: 4,567
Maui: 4,503
Kaua‘i: 606
Lana‘i: 114
Moloka‘i: 59
Pending: 0
Out-of-State: 1,811
A total of 2,834 individuals have been hospitalized as a result of COVID-19 infection since the pandemic began, while at least 542 have died.
To date, a total of 1,774,560 doses of the vaccine have been administered statewide, with 60.6% of the population fully vaccinated and 67.8% having received at least one shot.
