DOH Reports 56 New Cases of COVID Tuesday
The Hawai‘i Department of Health reported 56 new cases of coronavirus Tuesday. The statewide total is now 36,332. No new COVID-related deaths were reported.
The state’s two-week average is 55 new cases daily, with a test positivity rate of 1.1%. A DOH map that tracks cases by district across all islands can be accessed on the department’s website.
The island-by-island case count is as follows:
O‘ahu: 26,420
Maui: 3,653
Hawai‘i: 2,904
Kaua‘i: 321
Lana‘i: 112
Moloka‘i: 55
Pending: 0
Out-of-State: 1,195
A total of 2,327 individuals have been hospitalized as a result of COVID-19 infection since the pandemic began, while at least 500 have died.
To date, a total of 1,538,504 doses of the vaccine have been administered statewide.
