DOH Reports 23 New Cases of COVID Tuesday
The Hawai‘i Department of Health reported 23 new cases of coronavirus Monday. The statewide total is now 35,924. No new COVID-related deaths were reported.
The state’s two-week average is 53 new cases daily, with a test positivity rate of 1.0%. A DOH map that tracks cases by district across all islands can be accessed on the department’s website.
The island-by-island case count is as follows:
O‘ahu: 26,207
Maui: 3,612
Hawai‘i: 2,792
Kaua‘i: 315
Lana‘i: 112
Moloka‘i: 53
Pending: 0
Out-of-State: 1,171
A total of 2,285 individuals have been hospitalized as a result of COVID-19 infection since the pandemic began, while at least 496 have died.
To date, a total of 1,473,716 shots of vaccine have been administered statewide.
