County of Kauaʻi officials are advising the public of alternative non-emergency phone lines due to technical issues with the main line.

The announcement was made in a county press release Tuesday evening.

According to the release, the Kaua‘i Police Department’s non-emergency dispatch line (808-241-1711) experienced a short disruption due to internal system upgrades earlier this evening, which has since been restored.

“While IT officials continue to work on the upgrades tonight, KPD officials are advising the public of alternative non-emergency dispatch phone lines in case operations are disrupted again,” the release states.
