Kauaʻi weekly lane closures: July 6-July 12

The Hawai‘i Department of Transportation has announced weekly lane closures for July 6-July 12. Lane closure schedules may change at any time without further notice. All projects are weather permitting.

— KAUMUALII HIGHWAY (ROUTE 50) —

PUHI TO KIPU (NIGHT WORK)

Right lane closure on Kaumualii Highway (Route 50) possible in either direction, between mile post 1.93 and 4.00, in the vicinity of Anonui Street and Puuana Road, on Tuesday, July 9 and Thursday, July 11 from 1 a.m. to 6:30 a.m. for guardrail clearing.

Right lane closure on Kaumualii Highway (Route 50) possible in either direction, between mile post 4 and 4.1, in the vicinity of Puuana Road, on Wednesday, July 10 from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m. for guardrail repair.

Right lane closure on Kaumualii Highway (Route 50) possible in either direction, between mile post 4 and 4.5, in the vicinity of Puuana Road, on Thursday, July 11 from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m. for guardrail repair.

KOLOA TO LAWAI

Right lane closure on Kaumualii Highway (Route 50) possible in either direction, between mile post 7.92 and 9.98, in the vicinity of Akemama Road, on Monday, July 8 through Friday, July 12 from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. for grass cutting and guardrail clearing.

Right lane closure on Kaumualii Highway (Route 50) possible in either direction, between mile post 11 and 11.1, in the vicinity of Lauoho Road, on Tuesday, July 9 from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m. for guardrail repair.

ELEELE (NIGHT WORK)

Right lane closure on Kaumualii Highway (Route 50) possible in either direction, between mile post 15.5 and 16.6, in the vicinity of Ahe Street and Puolo Road, on Monday, July 8 from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m. for guardrail repair.

— KUHIO HIGHWAY (ROUTES 56/560) —

Right lane closure on Kuhio Highway (Route 56) in the westbound direction, in the vicinity of Hardy Street, on Monday, July 8, Tuesday, July 9 and Friday, July 12 from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. for repairing the catch basin.

LIHUE TO HANAMAULU

Single lane closure on Kuhio Highway (Route 56) possible in either direction, in the vicinity of Kuene Road and Kapule Highway, on Monday, July 8 through Friday, July 12, from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for striping and sign installations.

HANAMAULU (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Single lane closure on Kuhio Highway (Route 56) possible in either direction, between mile post 2.31 and 2.59 in the vicinity of Akilolo Street and Kapule Highway, on Sunday, July 7 through Friday, July 12, from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. for striping.

KALIHIWAI TO PRINCVILLE

Right lane closure on Kuhio Highway (Route 56) possible in either direction, in the vicinity of Kalamania Road and the Princeville Airport, on Monday, July 8 through Friday, July 12, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. for grass cutting.

KALIHIWAI TO PRINCEVILLE (WEEKEND/ NIGHT WORK)

Single lane closure on Kuhio Highway (Route 56) possible in either direction, in the vicinity of Kahiliholo Road and Ka Haku Road, on Sunday, July 7 through Friday July 12, from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. for highway reconstruction.

KAPAIA (WEEKEND WORK)

Right lane closure on Maalo Road (Route 583) possible in either direction, between mile post 3.61 and 3.78, on Saturday, July 6, from 7 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. for grass cutting and tree trimming.

WAILUA TO KAPAA

Right lane closure of Kapaa Bypass Road (Route 5600) possible in either direction, between mile post 0.90 to 1.65, in the vicinity of Olohena Road, on Monday, July 8 through Friday, July 12, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. for grass cutting.
