County of Kaua‘i announces Kamehameha Day closures

In observance of Kamehameha Day, County of Kaua‘i offices will be closed on June 11.

County officials also announce the following holiday closures:

  • All refuse transfer stations;
  • The Kekaha Landfill;
  • All County of Kaua‘i offices;
  • All neighborhood centers;
  • The Waimea and Kapa‘a swimming pools; and
  • The Kaua‘i Resource Center in Līhu‘e, including the HI5 redemption center, composting bins, batteries, florescent lights, reuse.

HI5 redemption centers in Kapa‘a and Kīlauea will be open on their regular schedules.

The schedule for residential refuse pick-up will remain unchanged.

The Kaua‘i Bus will be operating on its current daily schedule.

Regular business hours for county offices and services will resume on June 12.
