Kaua‘i man accused of negligent homicide after reportedly hitting a man with his vehicle
A Kapa‘a man is dead after being struck by a vehicle last week.
The incident occurred on April 11 at approximately 10:30 p.m. when Christopher Harm, 56, was struck by a vehicle on Kahuna Road in Kapa‘a. He was transported to the Wilcox Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
An autopsy was conducted and is pending results.
On Monday, at approximately 3 p.m., police arrested Jacob Saylor, 43, of Kīlauea, in connection with the incident. Saylor was arrested for the offense of Negligent Homicide in the First Degree and is currently being held at KPD cellblock.
His bail is set at $500,000.
