Kaua‘i Elections Division offering 2024 candidate nomination and filing services
The Elections Division of the Office of the County Clerk began offering candidate nomination and filing services on Feb. 1.
Services are offered Monday through Friday during the regular office hours of 7:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The deadline to file nomination papers is June 4.
Prospective candidates can file nomination papers at any time during regular office hours but are encouraged to schedule an appointment to ensure prompt and timely service.
For the 2024 Elections, the Elections Division will be offering nomination and filing services for the following offices:
- United States Senate;
- United States Representative;
- State Representative;
- Office of Hawaiian Affairs, Kaua‘i Resident Trustee;
- Prosecuting Attorney; and
- Councilmember (7 seats).
Prior to beginning the candidate nomination and filing process, prospective candidates are encouraged to visit the State Office of Elections’ webpage at www.hawaii.gov.elections to review information on the process.
Finally, note that official election information will only be disseminated through the Elections Division of the Office of the County Clerk, the State Office of Elections or via the Public Information Officer of the County of Kaua‘i.
