County of Kaua‘i announces holiday closures
In observance of the Christmas and New Year’s Day holidays, County of Kaua‘i offices will be closed on Dec. 25 and Jan. 1.
Closures also include the following facilities on Dec. 25 and Jan. 1:
- all neighborhood centers;
- all refuse transfer stations;
- the Kekaha Landfill;
- the Puhi Metals Recycling Center; and
- The Līhu‘e HI5 Redemption Center.
Because the Waimea and Kapa‘a swimming pools are closed on Mondays, the staff will observe the holidays on Dec. 26 and Jan. 2.
The schedule for residential refuse pick-up will remain unchanged.
The Kaua‘i Bus will be operating on its regular schedule on the holidays.
Regular business hours for county offices and services will resume on Dec. 26 and Jan. 2.
