Hawai‘i Department of Transportation announced lane closures for the week of Nov. 25 to Dec. 1. Lane closure schedules may change at any time without further notice. All projects are weather permitting.

— KAUMUALI‘I HIGHWAY (ROUTE 50) —

KOLOA

Right lane closure on Kaumuali‘i Highway (Route 50) possible in either direction between mile post 5 and 6 beginning Monday, Nov. 27 through Friday, Dec. 1 from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. for installation of reflective pavement markers on the travel way edge and center line.

OMAO TO KALAHEO

Right lane closure on Kaumuali‘i Highway (Route 50) possible in either direction between mile post 8.5 to 10, in the vicinity of Maha Road and Akemama Road, on Monday, Nov. 27 through Friday, Dec. 1 from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. for shoulder grading.

— WA‘APA ROAD (ROUTE 51) —

LĪHU‘E

Right lane closure on Wa‘apa Road (Route 51) in the northbound direction between mile post 0 and 0.9, in the vicinity of Kailikea Street and Kapule Highway, beginning Monday, Nov. 27 through Friday, Dec. 1 from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. for grass cutting.

— KŪHIŌ HIGHWAY (ROUTES 56/560) —

LĪHU‘E

Single lane shift on Kūhiō Highway (Route 56) in the northbound direction between mile post 0.7 and 2.5, in the vicinity of Kuene Road and Kapule Highway, beginning Monday, Nov. 27 through Friday, Dec. 1 from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for sidewalk installation.

KEALIA

Right lane closure on Kūhiō Highway (Route 56) possible in either direction, between mile post 10 and 11.5, on Monday, Nov. 27 through Thursday, Nov. 30, from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. for clearing of guardrails, slopes and grass cutting.

PRINCEVILLE TO HANALEI

Right lane closure on Kūhiō Highway (Route 560) in the eastbound direction between Hanalei Plantation Road and Ohiki Road, on Monday, Nov. 27 through Friday, Dec. 1 from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for debris removal and hauling of slope material. Traffic will be alternating through the open lane.

HANALEI TO WAINIHA

Right lane closure on Kūhiō Highway (Route 560) possible in either direction, between mile post 5.5 and 7, beginning Monday, Nov. 27 through Thursday, Nov. 30 from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. for grass cutting along banks and guardrails.

— NAWILIWILI ROAD (ROUTE 58) —

Right lane closure on Nawiliwili Road (Route 58) possible in either direction between mile post 0 and 1.5, in the vicinity of Waapa Road and Pua Kea Golf Course, beginning Monday, Nov. 27 through Friday, Dec. 1 from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. for grass cutting.
