Kaua‘i families invited to annual Halloween Keiki Parade at Wilcox Medical Center
Wilcox Medical Center welcomes families to its 17th annual Halloween Keiki Parade on Oct. 31.
Children are encouraged to dress in their most creative costumes for the parade to receive treats and other goodies from Wilcox Health physicians and staff.
The event will run from noon to 1 p.m. at the Wilcox Medical Center lobby at 3-3420 Kūhiō Highway in Līhuʻe.
“Our Halloween Keiki Parade is a tradition for Kaua‘i families and our Wilcox ‘ohana every year,” Jen Chahanovich, president and CEO of Wilcox Medical Center and CEO of Kaua‘i Medical Clinic, said.
“We always look forward to seeing the creative costumes keiki come in, and our physicians and staff get into the spirit, too. This event is a chance for us to offer families of young children a safe, healthy space to celebrate the holiday.”
Prizes will be awarded to keiki costume contest winners.
Other activities include a photo booth, refreshments and an employee pumpkin-carving contest, where people can vote for their favorite decorated pumpkin.
