Lane closures scheduled for portions of Kapa‘a, Kīlauea Oct 23. to Oct. 27

The Department of Public Works and its contractor Kōkua Geotech, LLC, are announcing that portions of Kahiliholo Road in Kīlauea and Kaehulua Road in Kapa‘a will be closed Oct. 23 to Oct. 27, from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Please refer to the maps provided.

The closures are necessary for drilling work for future projects.

One lane will remain open to accommodate alternating traffic in both directions.

Please make the appropriate arrangements to accommodate the necessary road closures, use alternate routes, and allow extra time to get to destinations. During this time, no parking will be allowed in the work zones. Flaggers will be positioned at the work zone to direct traffic.
