Understand extreme weather around Kaua‘i, at the next Climate Action Forum

The Kaua‘i Climate Action Forum will tackle climate change and extreme weather around the Garden Isle, at its next virtual public meeting Oct. 11.

Local environmental groups Zero Waste Kaua‘i, Kaua‘i Climate Action Coalition and Surfrider Kaua‘i form the Kaua‘i Climate Action Forum.

University of Hawai‘i oceanographer and climate change expert Dr. Christopher Sabine will deliver a presentation tailored to Kaua‘i at the Oct. 11 event, which starts at 6 p.m.

“Dr. Sabine is an excellent speaker,” said organizer Cynthia Welti.
