Aloha itself has donated:

  • $25,000 to Maui Food Bank to provide food to those displaced by the wildfires.
  • $25,000 to Maui Economic Opportunity Inc. to provide support for individuals and families affected by securing transitional housing.

Sunoco LP and Energy Transfer, through their foundation, also donated:

  • $25,000 to the American Red Cross (Pacific Islands Region) to shelter people who have been displaced by the fires.
  • $25,000 to The Salvation Army (Hawaiian and Pacific Islands Division) to meet the immediate needs of individuals and families impacted by the wildfire.

Aloha Petroleum, one of the state’s largest gasoline marketers and convenience store operators, also launched an in-store fundraising initiative to give customers the opportunity to show their aloha for the Valley Isle by donating to Hawai’i Community Foundation’s Maui Strong Fund.
