Hawai‘i’s Finest, the renowned Native Hawaiian-owned brand from Molokai, has raised $250,000 through its Kōkua Maui T-shirt fundraiser to help those in need following the deadly wildfire that destroyed Lāhainā on Maui.

Pre-orders ended Monday and shirts should arrive by Sept. 1 for those who purchased them in support of the fundraiser.

“We’ve received thousands and thousands of orders that will take us a few weeks to print and a few weeks to ship,” the company says on it’s website. “Mahalo for your love and support for our Maui ‘ohana. Please keep praying and supporting anyway possible.”

For anyone who will be on O‘ahu at the end of this week, the company — which has consistently demonstrated its unwavering commitment to the local community especially in times of crisis — is also hosting the Kōkua Maui fundraiser concert at 8 p.m. Aug. 18 at The Republik in Honolulu, featuring Irie Love, Lion Fiyah, Chardonnay, B.E.T. and High Watah, with a special performance by country artist David Grace.

Tickets are $30 in advance or $40 at the door.

The goal is to raise $300,000, with 100% of ticket proceeds to be donated to the Lāhainā wildfire relief efforts. An additional $1 from each drink sold at the bar during the benefit concert will also be contributed to the cause, courtesy of The Republik.

“Join us in supporting this noble cause and enjoy an evening of soulful music and unity,” the company said in a press release. “Together, we can make a difference and help rebuild the community affected by the Lāhainā wildfire.”
