The Kaua‘i Department of Parks and Recreation’s 2023 Summer Fun Program will open on May 24 at 8 a.m., through the county’s website.
The 2023 Summer Fun Program will run from June 13 to July 21, on weekdays, from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., except on holidays. It’s open to children 5 to 11 years old.
Program sites include the Kapa‘a, Līhu‘e, Kalāheo, Hanapēpē and Kekaha neighborhood centers, as well as the Anahola Clubhouse.
The cost of enrollment is $75 per child, and will include morning and afternoon snacks and drinks. Parents and guardians will be responsible to provide participants’ lunch meals.
Enrollment is limited and will be handled on a first-come, first-served basis.
An account is needed to register for the Summer Fun Program online. Officials recommend those without existing accounts to create one prior to the registration opening. Anyone needing assistance accessing their account online may contact the neighborhood center in their community. For a list of numbers and emails for neighborhood centers, please visit here.
If you need an auxiliary aid/service or other accommodation due to a disability, contact Melanie Okamoto at 808-241-4462 and mokamoto@kauai.gov as soon as possible.
