Timbers Kauaʻi names Chris Gampon as general manager
Timbers Kauaʻi at Hōkūala has welcomed local hospitality expert, Chris Gampon, as its new
general manager.
In this role, Gampon is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations for the resort.
“Chris is a seasoned professional with a successful track record in managing the region’s most
esteemed resorts through an authentic and local perspective,” said Jesse Geremia, senior managing director of hospitality at Timbers Company.
Gampon’s career in property management spans over 30 years. In previous roles, he has held various general manager positions at Kona Bali Kai, Banyan Harbor Resort, The Point at Poʻipū, Kiahuna Plantation Resort, and Aston Hotels, Kauaʻi properties.
“Our goal at Timbers Kauaʻi is to enhance the experience on property for all, ranging from owners and guests to the local community and our dedicated staff who share their aloha for the land, culture and its history, every day,” said Gampon.
In addition to his professional experience, Gampon has also been actively involved in community organizations, holding past positions as chairman of the board for the Kauaʻi Chamber of Commerce, chairman for the Chamber Government Affairs Committee, and president of the Poipu Beach Resort Association.
Gampon currently serves as a board member of Kauaʻi Hospice.
