The restaurant, which is currently open during limited hours, is holding several grand-opening events later this month.

Hapa Kaua‘i specializes in ramen made with local meats and produce, along with other island specialties. It offers bourbon, Japanese whisky, saké and cocktails featuring Kaua‘i-based brand Koloa Rum.
Hapa Kaua‘i is the second location for owners Michael Littman and Chef Sarah Littman, who first started their culinary business with Hapa PDX, a then-ramen cart in Portland, Oregon.
“We are thrilled and humbled to continue our journey with Hapa Kaua‘i at The Shops at Kukui‘ula,” said Michael Littman.
