State Reports 3,167 New COVID Cases Sunday

The state Department of Health reported 3,167 new COVID-19 cases Sunday, bringing the statewide total to 202,273. Four new fatalities were reported.

A total of 168 new infections were identified Sunday on Kaua‘i.

The island-by-island case count is as follows:

  • O‘ahu: 142,766
  • Hawaiʻi: 21,418
  • Maui: 23,691
  • Kaua‘i: 8,434
  • Moloka‘i: 816
  • Lana‘i: 457
  • Pending: 0
  • Out-of-State: 4,691

A total of 7,144 individuals have been hospitalized as a result of COVID-19 infection since the pandemic began, while at least 1,146 have died.
