2,611 New COVID Cases Reported Statewide

The Hawaiʻi Department of Health reported 2,611 new COVID-19 cases Wednesday, bringing the statewide total to 126,067. No new fatalities were reported.
Kauaʻi County has a test positivity rate of 11.9% and a seven-day case average of 108.

A total of 5,313 individuals have been hospitalized as a result of COVID-19 infection since the pandemic began, while at least 1,094 have died.
