An intersection in Anahola will be closed for paving work starting next week.
According to the Department of Public Works, Ioane Road near Kūhiʻō Highway will be closed on Monday, Dec. 6, from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., weather permitting.
A temporary traffic detour route to access Ioane Road will be available through Kalalea Road and Konona Road.
Motorists are advised to expect brief and occasional delays. Additionally, DPW advises drivers to exercise caution when commuting through the work area. For questions or concerns, call Brock Tacata at 808-241-4995.
