52 New COVID Cases Confirmed Statewide
The Hawaiʻi Department of Health reported 52 new COVID-19 cases Tuesday, bringing the statewide total to 86,991. No new COVID-related fatalities were reported.
Kauaʻi County continues to have the highest test positivity rate in the state at 2.7% with a seven-day case average of 15.
The state’s seven-day average is now 112 new cases daily, with a test positivity rate of 1.5%.

The island-by-island case count is as follows:
O‘ahu: 59,255
Hawai‘i: 11,623
Maui: 9,859
Kaua‘i: 3,006
Moloka‘i: 247
Lana‘i: 145
Pending: 0
Out-of-State: 2,856
A total of 4,979 individuals have been hospitalized as a result of COVID-19 infection since the pandemic began, while at least 1,002 have died.
