142 New COVID Cases Reported Statewide
The Hawaiʻi Department of Health reported 142 new COVID-19 cases Wednesday, bringing the statewide total to 85,360. Six new COVID-related fatalities were reported.
The state’s seven-day average is now 99 new cases daily, with a test positivity rate of 1.8%.

The island-by-island case count is as follows:
O‘ahu: 58,425
Hawai‘i: 11,307
Maui: 9,653
Kaua‘i: 2,809
Moloka‘i: 243
Lana‘i: 145
Pending: 0
Out-of-State: 2,778
A total of 4,848 individuals have been hospitalized as a result of COVID-19 infection since the pandemic began, while at least 968 have died.
