COVID Daily Case Count Jumps to 184 Statewide
The Hawaiʻi Department of Health reported 184 new COVID-19 cases Wednesday, bringing the statewide total to 83,706. One new COVID-related fatality was also reported.
The state’s seven-day average is now 125 new cases daily, with a test positivity rate of 2.1%.

The island-by-island case count is as follows:
O‘ahu: 57,647
Hawai‘i: 10,964
Maui: 9,470
Kaua‘i: 2,586
Moloka‘i: 240
Lana‘i: 144
Pending: 0
Out-of-State: 2,655
A total of 4,682 individuals have been hospitalized as a result of COVID-19 infection since the pandemic began, while at least 889 have died.
